This Week's Musical Gems: Sibelius & Inmo

Inmo Yang

Violinist Inmo Yang gave such a compelling performance at the 2015 Paganini Competition that the jury awarded him First Prize, a distinction they hadn't bestowed upon anyone since 2006.

A year later, we were delighted to present him as soloist in this performance of the Sibelius Violin Concerto with the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra

As his encore to the Sibelius Concerto, Inmo performed Paganini's Caprice No. 1. We think you'll agree that his performance was prize-worthy!

Inmo also joined the BPYO tour to Peru, Argentina, and Uruguay the following summer and proved himself a delightful travel companion as well as a gifted musician.

We send our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones this weekend.
