Today we bring you a performance of the third movement of Walton's Viola Concerto, featuring violist Celia Daggy and the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (BPYO).

Celia was an undergraduate member of BPYO at the time of this performance. 

For a musical contrast, we also bring you this Interpretations of Music: Lessons for Life class in which Maestro Zander coaches cellist Łukasz Pawlikowski, also at the time an undergraduate member of BPYO, in the Bourrée from Bach's Third Cello Suite.

Maestro Zander advises Łukasz, "Our job is to make sure that the music speaks directly to the heart of the person listening." We hope you'll find that both of these musical selections achieve that goal.
