We have a special invitation for you from Maestro Zander for a livestream at 5:30 TODAY and we are excited to share the BPO performance fro November 2019!
The livestream: "Some of our finest musicians will be performing Tchaikovsky's Souvenir de Florence - a work of such sumptuous beauty that it can lift the most dejected spirit...It is Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year - so the timing is important. The performance will last just 35 minutes and sundown will be at about 6.50 p.m." The livestream will be available on Maestro Zander's Facebook page.
We are also excited to share with you a newly-released YouTube playlist of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra's performance from November, 2019 of Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances, including Benjamin Zander's popular pre-concert talk. It's as close as we can get to actually being in the concert hall at the moment!
Finally, we bring you a short arrangement of Bach's Third Brandenburg Concerto, arranged for French horn quartet and performed by Boston Philharmonic Orchestra Principal French Horn Kevin Owen.
