Today we bring you an Interpretations of Music: Lessons for Life class featuring the Prelude from Bach's Cello Suite No. 3 in C Major,

transcribed for viola and performed by Karlie Roberts, a member of the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra who had just arrived in Boston when this class was filmed. Maestro Zander coaches: "This music is a deep expression of joy and exuberance...There's something wonderful about energy: it's contagious. If you have energy, [the listener] will have energy...There's physical energy, there's emotional energy, and there's spiritual energy. Spiritual energy is about taking people on a journey to a place they've never dreamed of." Enjoy watching the transformation and journey that takes place in this class!

We send our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones this weekend. Happy listening!
