Written by BPO Staff | Mar 27, 2021 1:43:41 AM

Today we are pleased to share with you the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra's April 2019 performance of Charles Ives's Symphony No. 3,

including Maestro Zander's illuminating Pre-Concert Talk. This symphony evokes Ives's memories of camp meetings he attended in his childhood. Composed between 1908 and 1910, the symphony finally received its first performance in 1946. It was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music in 1947.

We send our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones this weekend. Happy listening!
