The Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra's Mission to Mexico

At the Boston Philharmonic, we believe in passionate music making without borders. As we approach the conclusion of our 46th season, that belief has never been stronger.

Our musicians, both seasoned professionals and young virtuosos, are playing at a level that is truly extraordinary. The energy of our ensembles, the synergy on stage, and the response from our audiences all speak to a profound momentum– one that is carrying us into a new era of arts and culture.

A shining example of this momentum is the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, which will soon embark on a tour to Mexico. At a time when relations with our neighbors are increasingly strained, we believe this tour is a message of hope for a better future. Through joint concerts, workshops, and educational exchanges, BPYO musicians will connect with the people of Mexico in ways that transcend borders and politics.

We need your help.

As you know, it is a formidable financial challenge to sustain a tuition-free youth orchestra. We operate with a small administrative staff, a volunteer board, and a relentless need to raise the funding that fuels our mission. The Boston Philharmonic is only possible because of people like you: people who believe that this orchestra is a force for good and worth supporting.

Every contribution is an investment in the future of orchestral music. Your support allows us to give more students access to high-level musical education, to bring world-class performances to global audiences, and to continue to grow as an organization that has become a cornerstone of Boston’s cultural landscape.

By making a donation, you are accepting our invitation to be part of this moment– to stand with us as we move boldly toward our mission to Mexico and another season filled with promise, passion, and possibility. With your help, we can ensure that this amazing music, and the people creating it, reach their fullest expression.

Tax-deductible gifts can be made online or by calling 617-236-0999.

Thank you for believing in the transformative power of music. We look forward to sharing this remarkable journey with you.

With deep gratitude,
